Walimex WAL-612 Semi-Pro Tripod, 137cm

Product information "Walimex WAL-612 Semi-Pro Tripod, 137cm"

Robust and stable
The Walimex WAL-612 Semi-Pro Tripod
is made from lightweight and robust materials. This makes it suitable for
heavy continuous use. The metal tripod shoulder is very solidly
designed. This ensures a high load capacity and good vibration behaviour.

Quick and precise height adjustment using a crank
The metal centre column and crank are very comfortable to use and ensure long-term precision. The fine-cut thread of the centre column allows the height of the centre column to be adjusted steplessly in seconds using the crank.
The metal crank ensures comfortable operation and cannot
break due to the solid workmanship.

Maximum working height 137cm (without head), load capacity 6 kg

The tripod reaches a working height of 137 cm without an additional tripod head
cm. The centre column is equipped with a 1/4 inch thread for holding
tripod heads or panheads. Using a 1/4 to 3/8 inch thread adapter,
tripod heads with a 3/8 inch thread can also be attached at any time. This means that, with the addition of an extra ball head, you can usually achieve a comfortable working height of approx. 146
to 147 cm.

High stability
The 3 tripod legs with diameters of 26, 22 and 18 mm ensure stability. This gives the tripod a maximum load capacity of 6 kg. The three leg segments have two twist-lock quick-release fasteners in a full metal design, allowing you to set up and adjust the tripod quickly and securely at any time. The necessary stability is always guaranteed by the metal mid-level spreader, which also allows for stepless adjustment of the leg angles.

Including bag
A black carrying and storage bag, which is already included in the scope of delivery,
with an additional small outer pocket, completes the features of the Walimex WAL-612.
The bag is approx. 20 cm longer than the tripod, so you can also use the bag
after mounting a tripod head.

Safety Instructions

  • Feature Download the full set of the instructions before setting up and using your device.
  • Feature Carefully read through the instructions before using your product for the first time. The instructions include all the important information that you will need to know about the product in order to avoid injuries and damage to your possessions and property.
Risk of Injury Due to Improper Use
  • Feature Be careful not to trap your fingers in the struts on the tripod legs when folding your tripod.
  • Feature Please note that lamp tripods must be set up on a sufficiently strong, level surface to ensure maximum stability and load-bearing capacity.
  • Feature Carefully read through all the information regarding the tripod’s maximum load capacity.
  • Feature Please note that the specified load capacity applies to any equipment that is placed in the middle of the tripod. The specified maximum load capacity is not applicable when the centre column is fully extended. When the centre column is fully extended this results in a reduced maximum load capacity and the tripod may not be as stable.
  • Feature When adjusting the centre column with mounted equipment, for your own safety and to protect the installed equipment, make sure that you hold the centre column with one hand while loosening the locks before loosening the tripod locks.

  • Feature Moisture can damage the parts on the middle column, and this may reduce the holding force and the parts on the centre column can start to slope downwards under heavy loads. Therefore, if necessary, dry the parts on the centre column with a soft, absorbent cloth (e.g. made of cotton).
  • Feature Tripod weight bags should only be used to secure your tripod.
  • Feature Using tripod castors:
Always lock the castors into place when you are not moving your tripod.

Please Follow the Following Safety Information When Using a Ball Head or Pan Tilt Head:
  • Feature When your camera equipment is screwed on, hold your device with one hand whilst unlocking the ball head or pan tilt head to prevent any possible damage to your camera equipment.
  • Feature Make sure that the quick-release plate is inserted correctly and not tilted. The locking knob needs to be in the furthest locking position to prevent your camera equipment from falling down.
Using a Crank (Depends on Model)
  • Feature When using a crank, the locking screw on the centre column must always be loosened before adjusting the height of the centre column, otherwise you could damage the delicate pitch thread.
