Walimex scissors for ceiling rail system

Expand your walimex ceiling rail system to up to 4 pantographs! The stepless extension of a maximum of 200cm helps you to photograph even small objects with ease. All common studio flashguns can be attached to the 5/8 inch spigot. The smooth-running cable carriage makes it possible to move the scissors on the rail of the ceiling rail system without effort. The scissor spring is made of stainless steel.

Tip: If the tension of the spring of the scissors decreases over time, you can retighten it by turning the red friction disc shown above in the picture clockwise. This allows you to adjust the scissors to the weight of your flashgun at any time.

  The lighting ceiling track weighs approx. 24.5 kg. The maximum load capacity of 6 kg must not be exceeded. Check your ceiling’s load capacity. Caution: Please also check the instructions for the weight of the lighting ceiling track.
  
• Only attach the ceiling lighting track to ceilings that are stable enough to bear the entire load.
  
• Please only use suitable fixing material for ceiling mounting.
  
• Attach the ceiling track securely and firmly. Tighten all screws on the ceiling track and the fastening screws on the rails after it has been used a couple of times.
  
• When attaching it to the ceiling, be careful of any power cables or water pipes underneath in order to prevent an electric shock.
  Risk of personal injury and fire due to falling parts or appliances.
  
• Ensure that the ceiling track is always firmly and securely attached to the ceiling
  
• Ensure that the equipment used is securely fastened and that the safety rope is attached.
  
• The cables can be a trip hazard, therefore, make sure that are clearly visible to avoid accidents. Be careful that no appliances fall down.
  
• Do not squash any power cables or mains cables when using a scissor lift trolley, as this can cause an electric shock.
  
• Only use spare parts for this device that comply with the specifications of the product.
  
• Keep any easily flammable materials away from the device.
  
• Avoid contact with loose parts, items of clothing, or your hair when using a scissor lift trolley.
  
• When using the scissor lift trolley, be careful not to place your fingers in it, as this may cause hand and finger injuries.
  
• Do not put your hand or arm between the rails when installing, cleaning, using, or repositioning your appliances or scissor arms, as this can cause injuries.

  The light sources on the studio devices can reach high temperatures as specified by the manufacturer. Note: Check the manual to find out how long the studio equipment needs to cool down.
