Product information "Walimex Reflector Holder Set silver/gold, Ø 100cm"

The reflector holder is the ideal assistant for holding your reflectors. You can simply and sturdily mount our folding reflectors on this holder. The tube clamp allows you to securely mount the reflector holder on all lamp tripods, tubes, cross struts, etc. with a diameter of approx. 18-30mm. Uncomplicated and sturdy': The walimex FT-8051 lamp tripod can be used portably and flexibly with a net weight of approx. 1780g and a transport size of approx. 93cm. You can use studio flashguns or reflectors up to a weight of 4kg on this stand. The spring damping ensures the necessary safety when lowering the individual stand elements. With the standard spigot connection 5/8 inch with 1/4 inch thread, the studio stand is suitable for all common studio lights and studio flashes.

The foldable reflector provides a good basis for excellent light control according to the respective situations. The collapsible reflector is delivered folded up in a practical carrying bag (approx. Ø 40cm).

Safety Instructions

  • Feature Download the full set of the instructions before setting up and using your device.
  • Feature Carefully read through the full set of instructions before using your product for the first time. The instructions include all the important information that you will need to know about the product in order to avoid injuries and damage to your possessions.
Risk of Injury When Loosening Pretensioned Parts!
The springs on centre column are pretensioned when they are delivered. WARNING! When opening the tripod locks, make sure to keep enough distance from the top end of the tripod and do not lean over the tripod.
  • Feature So that the tripod can be packaged and delivered, the fitted spring damps are pushed slightly together and then locked into place. When opening the locking clamps, the centre column parts can spring out up to 20 cm. This can damage your eyes and even cause blindness.
Risk of Injury Due to Improper Use
  • Feature Be careful not to trap your fingers in the struts on the tripod legs when folding your tripod.
  • Feature Please note that lamp tripods must be set up on a sufficiently strong, level surface to ensure maximum stability and load-bearing capacity.
  • Feature Carefully read through all the information regarding the tripod’s maximum load capacity.
  • Feature Please note that the specified load capacity applies to any equipment that is placed in the middle of the tripod. Depending on the equipment used, the maximum load capacity may differ from the specified maximum load. When using a boom, it is recommended to use suitable counterweights.
  • Feature Please note that moisture can damage the parts on the middle column, and this may reduce the holding force and the parts on the centre column can start to slope downwards under heavy loads. Therefore, if necessary, dry the parts on the centre column with a soft, absorbent cloth (e.g. made of cotton).
  • Feature After using your tripod for a long period of time, you may have to tighten the screws on the tripod clamps. Not enough tension reduces the maximum holding force of the tripod. Make sure that the clamps are tight, but do not tighten them too much. If the torque is too tight, the parts on the centre column may no longer be able to be extended properly.
  • Feature When adjusting the centre column with mounted equipment, for your own safety and to protect the installed equipment, make sure that you hold the centre column with one hand while loosening the locks before loosening the tripod locks.
  • Feature Do not move a loaded tripod with an extended centre column. You should only move it very carefully by holding it and gently pushing it. When heavy camera equipment is fitted onto a tripod and the large centre column has been extended, this can quite often cause a very sudden leverage effect. The lamp tripod has a top-heavy design when camera equipment has been fitted onto the top, therefore, be careful that it does not tip over and damage any camera equipment or cause any injuries.
  • Feature When using heavy equipment, especially when the tripod has been fully extended, you may have to stabilise your tripod by adding weight to the legs. For this, we would recommend using special sandbags or tripod weights. These will ensure that your tripod is stable. You can also use safety ropes when using your tripod at different heights. They offer added stability for your tripod.
  • Feature Using tripod castors:
Always lock the castors into place when you are not moving your tripod.
Be careful when using a photography reflector.
Caution, the clamping ring may spring open.
  • Feature Be careful when unfolding and folding the photography reflector.
  • Feature Never cut the seams or into the fabric!
Fire hazard due to flammable materials.
The photography backdrop and reflector are made of flammable materials and substances.
  • Feature Never smoke near the photography backdrop or reflector and do not use them near open flames.
  • Feature Keep them away from any other heat sources such as hot lamps, studio flash lighting, and electrical appliances that can become hot.
  • Feature Ensure that the photography reflector is properly assembled and securely fastened so that it will not fall over.
Be careful when using a photography reflector, as you could dazzle other people.
The colours silver and gold can cause glare when used for brightening, especially in combination with sunlight or artificial light.
  • Feature You will need to mount the reflector or hold it in a specific way so that you do not dazzle other people.
If the photography reflector or backdrop falls over, it could cause damage to any surrounding objects.
  • Feature Make sure that it is securely fastened when in use.
