Indispensable tool

The Octabox also delivers impressive results: soft, even illumination without reflections makes it an indispensable tool in the studio. They are particularly ideal for beauty and people photography because they create a pleasant, round reflection in the eyes. In contrast to the other softboxes in the Orange Line series, the PLUS version also includes a honeycomb grid (egg crate) for more intense light control and a round mask for truly perfectly round reflections. The grid, which is approx. 3 cm deep, can be easily attached using Velcro and produces large-area directional light. With the help of the mask, you can turn your softbox into a perfectly round light. An intermediate diffuser can optionally be used to make the light even softer. And the outer diffuser, which is simply placed over the softbox, is also a practical aid for controlling the lighting conditions.

  The speed ring and the softbox adapter can become hot depending on the device being used. Highly flammable materials may start to burn if they get too close to a hot part on the device.
  
• Ensure that any flammable materials do not come into contact with the device when it is in use.
  
  For larger softboxes/striplights from approx. 90 cm, we always recommend that you do not try and assemble them on your own.
