ND filters allow the continuous control of the amount of light that hits the chip. Two graduated filters, one above the other, can be individually superimposed by twisting. This makes it possible to reduce the amount of light from +2 to +8 f-stops. This reduction is useful in a variety of applications. For example, a longer exposure time can lead to flow effects in moving water or you can work with an open aperture and a longer shutter speed in a bright environment. Contrasts are not influenced by the filter. This makes constantly changing various filters redundant.

The ND Fader has excellent optical properties. The high-quality filter glasses are embedded in a precisely manufactured metal frame.
