Compact Light Stand for Creative Lighting

The Walimex Light Stand is compact and practical. It is very easy to store and carry, which makes it perfect for days out and holidays. In comparison to larger light stands, this compact light stand allows you to create low level lighting.

Perfect for a Wide Range of Applications

With a maximum working height of 40 cm, this mini tripod light stand is perfect for photo studios and also for travelling. It is ideal for creative lighting effects, for example, as additional lighting for portraits or product photography.

Robust Design

Thanks to the centre spreader, the light stand is very sturdy and remains firmly in place. The non-slip rubber feet provide additional grip on a wide range of surfaces.

Supports Studio Lighting and Flash Heads

The light stand has a maximum load capacity of 2.5 kg, and it can support most smaller lamps and studio flash lighting. Thanks to the standard spigot connection, it is compatible with most light shapers.

Compact Design for Easy Portability

Thanks to its compact size, this mini tripod light stand fits into almost any camera bag. It is perfect for small photo studios and outdoor photoshoots.
Safety Instructions

  • Feature Download the full set of the instructions before setting up and using your device.
  • Feature Carefully read through the full set of instructions before using your product for the first time. The instructions include all the important information that you will need to know about the product in order to avoid injuries and damage to your possessions.
Risk of Injury Due to Improper Use
  • Feature Be careful not to trap your fingers in the struts on the tripod legs when folding your tripod.
  • Feature Please note that lamp tripods must be set up on a sufficiently strong, level surface to ensure maximum stability and load-bearing capacity.
  • Feature Please follow the safety information in the manual regarding the maximum load capacity for your tripod.
  • Feature Please note that the specified load capacity applies to any equipment that is placed in the middle of the tripod. Depending on the equipment used, the maximum load capacity may differ from the specified maximum load. When using a boom, it is recommended to use suitable counterweights.
  • Feature Please note that moisture can damage the parts on the middle column, and this may reduce the holding force and the parts on the centre column can start to slope downwards under heavy loads. Therefore, if necessary, dry the parts on the centre column with a soft, absorbent cloth (e.g. made of cotton).
  • Feature After using your tripod for a long period of time, you may have to tighten the screws on the tripod clamps. Not enough tension reduces the maximum holding force of the tripod. Make sure that the clamps are tight, but do not tighten them too much. If the torque is too tight, the parts on the centre column may no longer be able to be extended properly.
  • Feature When adjusting the centre column with mounted equipment, for your own safety and to protect the installed equipment, make sure that you hold the centre column with one hand while loosening the locks before loosening the tripod locks.
  • Feature Do not move a loaded tripod with an extended centre column. You should only move it very carefully by holding it and gently pushing it. When heavy camera equipment is fitted onto a tripod and the large centre column has been extended, this can quite often cause a very sudden leverage effect. The lamp tripod has a top-heavy design when camera equipment has been fitted onto the top, therefore, be careful that it does not tip over and damage any camera equipment or cause any injuries.
  • Feature When using heavy equipment, especially when the tripod has been fully extended, you may have to stabilise your tripod by adding weight to the legs. For this, we would recommend using special sandbags or tripod weights. These will ensure that your tripod is stable. You can also use safety ropes when using a tripod at different heights. They offer added stability for your tripod.
  • Feature Using tripod castors:
Always lock the castors into place when you are not moving your tripod.
