Product information "Walimex pro flash device Light Shooter 180"
Maximum flash power in a minimal size! This and much more is offered by the flash device Light Shooter from Walimex pro. With its compact size, the Light Shooter is reminiscent of a system flash, but this little device packs as much power as a studio flash! It is the ideal tool for work on location.
The flash device offers powerful 180Ws output with a fast recharge time (0.05 to 2.6 seconds) and a high flash number (max. 900). This means that you have sufficient power for your next event or wedding shoot, even if it takes a little longer. Power is supplied via the Walimex pro Powerblock II or Walimex pro Power Porta (not included in the scope of delivery), which are just as compact, lightweight and portable as the Shooter. Together, the two devices form an unbeatable duo.
The Light Shooter is characterised by its clear, user-friendly control panel, which allows you to intuitively make the desired settings. The display, which is illuminated in blue, always provides a structured overview of the device's status. The flash device is supplied with a plug-in flash tube, a reflector with a diffuser disc and a connection cable for the Powerblock II or Power Porta. You can optionally purchase further accessories, e.g. a softbox or beauty dish, to provide additional light characteristics. This gives you the flexibility of a studio.

Choking Hazard: Please keep all small parts, camera equipment, and any packaging out of reach from children and pets.
Glare From LED Lights and Eye Damage
A camera flash can damage your retina and, in some cases, cause blindness. Therefore, it is recommended that people and animals do not stand too close to a camera when the flash is on.
If people or animals look directly into an LED light source, the optical radiation from LED light pockets can dazzle your eyes and result in afterimages. This may cause accidents or damage to your eyes.
Make sure to keep a distance of at least 2 metres when taking photos of small children and babies and use a flash with a low output. Use a camera flash diffuser to reduce the light intensity.
Preventing Burns and Injuries
Be careful not to trap or injure yourself when using this device or other camera accessories, such as a tripod.
Make sure that you always assemble any camera equipment properly so that it does not tip over.
Make sure that there are no loose screws.
Do not cover the device and keep it away from flammable objects.
Risk of Electric Shock and Fire Due to a Short Circuit
A short circuit can be caused by defective cables and water damage.
Only use the original cables that come with the device.
When using your device or camera equipment outdoors, ensure that it is not damp and there is no high humidity or high temperatures.
In case of any damage to your device, it is advised to have it checked by a qualified electrician before switching it back on.
If your device is damaged, broken, or if you notice a burning smell:
o Disconnect the device immediately by unplugging it and do not try to plug it back in.
o Do not dismantle or try to repair the device. If the device needs repairing, then this should only be done by a qualified electrician.
Be Careful When the Device Is On
The modelling (LED) lamp and the flash tube can reach temperatures of up to 240 °C, the reflector can get up to 75 °C, and the flash housing up to 45 °C. Allow the device to cool down completely before carrying out any repair work and trying to assemble/disassemble it. Highly flammable materials may start to burn if they get too close to a hot part of the device.
Important Information About Batteries/Rechargeable Batteries
These can leak or explode if they are not handled with care. Please Follow the Following Safety Instructions!
Keep the device and batteries/rechargeable batteries away from fire and direct heat.
Do not use your device if the housing has been damaged. You should also not use your device if it is damaged or shows signs of a swollen battery.
Do not leave any batteries on charge unattended.
Once the device is fully charged, disconnect it from the power supply.
If the batteries or rechargeable battery leak and the liquid comes into contact with your skin or clothing, rinse immediately with water.
Risk of Injury Due to a Broken or Burst Flash Tube
Even a small amount of skin grease residue on the flash tube can cause it to burst due to the heat that is generated when it is on. Glass splinters can cause injuries to your eyes and skin.
Be careful when using a flash tube and ensure that the glass does not break.
Do not touch the flash tube with your bare hands. Wear clean cotton gloves or use a clean cloth to touch it.
Take care not to accidentally touch the flash tube when fitting or replacing any camera accessories.
