Robust Boom Stand for Indoor and Outdoor Use
Practical Wheeled Boom Stand for Photo Studios and Film Sets
The Walimex pro Wheeled Boom Stand is an ideal choice for both photo studios and film sets. The three tripod legs with have a diameter of 94 cm and they are equipped with three solid rubber castors (80 mm) with brakes. This allows you to easily move the boom stand and lock it into position. The height of this boom stand can be adjusted from 130 cm to approximately 390 cm. The telescopic boom arm can be made longer from 115 - 215 cm or slotted into the centre column and then it can be used as a light stand. The legs on the boom stand are foldable, and you can fold the boom stand, when it is not in use.
Robust Metal Bracket
The boom arm is attached to a robust metal bracket that allows you to tilt and rotate the boom arm. Thanks to the locking levers, this wheeled boom stand can be rotated up to 360° and tilted up to 180°.
Practical Adapter
It comes with an 5/8′′ (16 mm) adapter and a 3/8′′ and a 1/4′′ thread that allows you to attach a wide range of photography equipment. You can remove the adapter, and it can also be attached to the front or the sides of the boom stand. This allows you to quickly and easily attach and adjust your photography equipment. It supports flash heads, studio lighting, LED lights, softboxes, reflectors and photography backgrounds. Depending on the length of the boom, the Boom Stand has a maximum load capacity of 3 - 6 kg.

Safety Instructions
Download the full set of the instructions before setting up and using your device.
Carefully read through the full set of instructions before using your product for the first time. The instructions include all the important information that you will need to know about the product in order to avoid injuries and damage to your possessions.
Risk of Injury Due to Improper Use
Be careful not to trap your fingers in the struts on the tripod legs when folding your tripod.
Please note that lamp tripods must be set up on a sufficiently strong, level surface to ensure maximum stability and load-bearing capacity.
Please follow the safety information in the manual regarding the maximum load capacity for your tripod.
Please note that the specified load capacity applies to any equipment that is placed in the middle of the tripod. Depending on the equipment used, the maximum load capacity may differ from the specified maximum load. When using a boom, it is recommended to use suitable counterweights.
Please note that moisture can damage the parts on the middle column, and this may reduce the holding force and the parts on the centre column can start to slope downwards under heavy loads. Therefore, if necessary, dry the parts on the centre column with a soft, absorbent cloth (e.g. made of cotton).
After using your tripod for a long period of time, you may have to tighten the screws on the tripod clamps. Not enough tension reduces the maximum holding force of the tripod. Make sure that the clamps are tight, but do not tighten them too much. If the torque is too tight, the parts on the centre column may no longer be able to be extended properly.
When adjusting the centre column with mounted equipment, for your own safety and to protect the installed equipment, make sure that you hold the centre column with one hand while loosening the locks before loosening the tripod locks.
Do not move a loaded tripod with an extended centre column. You should only move it very carefully by holding it and gently pushing it. When heavy camera equipment is fitted onto a tripod and the large centre column has been extended, this can quite often cause a very sudden leverage effect. The lamp tripod has a top-heavy design when camera equipment has been fitted onto the top, therefore, be careful that it does not tip over and damage any camera equipment or cause any injuries.
When using heavy equipment, especially when the tripod has been fully extended, you may have to stabilise your tripod by adding weight to the legs. For this, we would recommend using special sandbags or tripod weights. These will ensure that your tripod is stable. You can also use safety ropes when using a tripod at different heights. They offer added stability for your tripod.
Using tripod castors:
Always lock the castors into place when you are not moving your tripod.
