Product information "Walimex pro background system XXL 190-465cm - extremely stable & large professional background set for studio & mobile I for photography video & green screen I paper fabric vinyl & canvases I"

Stable as a rock: The background system from Walimex pro is characterised by a particularly high stability. All five crossbars are extra thick, so that they can hold even heavy cloth backgrounds without any problems and without bending. The two tripods contribute significantly to a secure and solid stand. Thanks to spring damping, handling is particularly easy and comfortable.Flexible like you : You can easily adapt the system to your photographic needs. The five crossbars can be combined with each other as you like . When two crossbars are used, the width is 190cm, when three crossbars are used, it is 282cm, when four crossbars are used, it is 374cm and when all five crossbars are used, it is 465cm. The height can be adjusted continuously up to a maximum of 400cm on the two tripods. The lamp tripods can also be used individually for other purposes. An exchangeable spigot makes this possible.
Safety Instructions

  • Feature Download the full set of the instructions before setting up and using your device.
  • Feature Carefully read through the instructions before using your product for the first time. The instructions include all the important information that you will need to know about the product in order to avoid injuries and damage to your possessions or property.
Risk of Injury When Loosening Pretensioned Parts!
The springs on centre column are pretensioned when they are delivered. WARNING! When opening the tripod locks, make sure to keep enough distance from the top end of the tripod and do not lean over the tripod.
  • Feature So that the tripod can be packaged and delivered, the fitted spring damps are pushed slightly together and then locked into place. When opening the locking clamps, the centre column parts can spring out up to 20 cm. This may cause injuries.
Risk of Injury Due to Improper Use
  • Feature Be careful not to trap your fingers in the struts on the tripod legs when folding your tripod.
  • Feature When installing a crossbar, make sure that it does not tip or fall off and injure anyone. Only fit the crossbar when it is correctly locked into place! Check that there are no loose screws each time you use a background support.
  • Feature Only hang photography backdrops or decorative elements on the crossbar. Never stretch photography backdrops or decorative elements to create a tent or roof-like structure. This may cause the background support to tip over.
  • Feature The crossbars must always be mounted horizontally and never at an angle!
  • Feature Please note that lamp tripods must be set up on a sufficiently strong, level surface to ensure maximum stability and load-bearing capacity.
  • Feature Please follow the safety information in the manual regarding the maximum load capacity for your tripod.
  • Feature Please note that the specified load capacity applies to any equipment that is placed in the middle of the tripod. Depending on the equipment used, the maximum load capacity may differ from the specified maximum load.
  • Feature You will need to equally balance out the weight if you are using a tripod lamp stand with a boom.
  • Feature Please note that moisture can damage the parts on the middle column. This may reduce the holding force and the parts on the centre column can start to slope downwards when supporting heavy loads. Therefore, if necessary, dry the parts on the centre column with a soft, absorbent cloth (e.g. made of cotton).
  • Feature After using your tripod for a long period of time, you may have to tighten the screws on the tripod clamps. Not enough tension reduces the maximum holding force of the tripod. Make sure that the clamps are tight, but do not tighten them too much. If the torque is too tight, the parts on the centre column may no longer be able to be extended properly.
  • Feature If you need to change the height of the background support, this should be done once it has been assembled and ideally by two people. To adjust the height, you will need to adjust the stands alternately up to a maximum of 5 cm.
  • Feature You should never try to move an assembled background support on your own. Carefully put it down after carrying it and make sure that it is not tilted or at an angle. You should dismantle the background support if you going to move or transport it.
  • Feature When using heavy equipment, especially when the tripod has been fully extended, you may have to stabilise your tripod by adding weight to the legs. For this, we would recommend using special sandbags or tripod weights. These will ensure that your tripod is stable. You can also use safety ropes when using a tripod at different heights. They offer added stability for your tripod.
