Versatile:

The reflector cover with wavy gold-coloured coating is very suitable as a main or effect light in portrait photography. It provides a warmer light characteristic. The silver cover, on the other hand, reflects the incoming light directly, very harshly and coolly. For this reason, it is used primarily in product photography as a main and effect light. But photographers also appreciate it as an effect light for brightening. A soft and colour-neutral brightening can be implemented very well with the white-coated reflector. The light characteristic is very homogeneous and even. The black cover is ideal for darkening individual areas, for example in portrait photography. It is used in particular in portrait photography for targeted lighting. Most photographers are familiar with the diffuser covering of the actual reflector from on-location portrait photography, for example to soften sunlight and thus achieve very soft, almost indirect lighting. As a background, it can also be lit from behind, creating a bright glow behind the subject. This is how high-key shots can be professionally implemented.

Round shape

Due to their design, round reflectors are ideal for both portrait and product photography. Whether as fill-in or effect light, these reflectors are always the first choice. Usually, such reflectors are held by an assistant, but it is also possible to attach them with universal clamps or to hang them up by the loop.
