The extension rings are combined as desired between the lens and the camera, sealed and increase the distance between the lens and the sensor plane. It is equivalent to a much greater extension of the helical focus. Effect: The scale of the image is increased, thereby also reducing the depth of field. A subject in the close-up range is detached from the background, isolated. These intermediate rings can be used with many, almost all, lenses. They are most effective for close-ups with short focal lengths in the normal or slightly telephoto range.

Three extension rings for more flexibility

The set consists of three extension rings in different sizes. These can be combined as you like. This allows you to achieve very different scales with the same basic lens. Please note: the extension rings lengthen the light path. The exposure time is four times longer at a scale of 1:1, for example. We recommend using a tripod with quiet lenses.

Contacts for data transfer

To ensure that working with the camera is as elegant and problem-free as possible, all three extension rings are equipped with gold-plated contacts. This ensures that the transfer of EXIF data and aperture control is maintained. Exposure metering in TV or AV mode is also possible without restriction. Finally, the autofocus also works perfectly thanks to the contacts.
