Ideal for using multiple cameras
A quick-release plate (also known as a camera plate or quick-release plate) is a frequently used and very helpful accessory in photography
and video technology
for tripod heads. Frequently having to screw the camera on and off the tripod (for example when using different cameras) is often quite time-consuming and annoying. This problem can be solved by using a quick-release plate. These plates are screwed to the camera body using the existing threaded screw (usually 1/4 inch) and then simply remains on the camera.
The
camera can be quickly and easily attached to or removed from the
tripod head using the quick-release plate's easy-to-use locking mechanism on the
tripod head.
