Product information "Mantona Basic Scout Max photo tripod, camera tripod up to 160cm working height, ball head, reversible centre column, ideal for travelling and outdoor photography for DSLR camera, compact lightweight"
The mantona Scout MAX tripod with legs made of anodised aluminium is a versatile solution not only for beginners. It is easy to use, has practical functions and is both stable and compact.
The mantona Scout series impresses with intelligent detailed solutions and is
versatile with additional accessories. Like all mantona products, this tripod also impresses with an attractive price-performance ratio.
Flexible leg angle adjustment
The tripod legs of the mantona Scout
Max can be aligned particularly easily and continuously thanks to the stable
clamp quick-release fasteners. A spirit level in the tripod star facilitates exact positioning of the tripod. The quick-release fasteners can be individually fine-adjusted using the supplied Allen key, and thus adapted to the user's individual preferences. The uncomplicated leg angle adjustment provides additional flexibility. This means that the tripod is always ready in no time,
even for macro photography.
The rubberised tripod feet ensure a firm footing on a variety of surfaces.
With a maximum working height of 160cm, the Scout Max model offers even
more flexibility and freedom of movement for your photography. The ball head of the
Scout Max version can support a slightly higher load than the normal
Scout model (5kg), at 6kg. This gives you a total system load capacity of 6kg.
Work close to the ground with the removable centre column
For work close to the ground, the mantona Scout offers not only leg angle adjustment but also a
reversible centre column. The centre column can be completely removed and reattached to the tripod with the ball head facing downwards. The photographer's creativity is given free rein with this high-quality tripod.
Includes ball head with 6 kg load capacity
The mantona Scout MAX is supplied complete with a ball head with 6 kg load capacity and quick-release plate (Manfrotto PL200 compatible). The ball head enables you to react quickly to changing light conditions
or to take pictures in portrait format. The quick-release plate is rubberised, so your equipment sits extremely reliably and securely on the Manfrotto PL200 compatible quick-release plate. An additional drop guard prevents damage to your equipment. With this set, beginners and advanced users who value quality are perfectly equipped.

Download the full set of the instructions before setting up and using your device.
Carefully read through the instructions before using your product for the first time. The instructions include all the important information that you will need to know about the product in order to avoid injuries and damage to your possessions and property.
Risk of Injury Due to Improper Use
Be careful not to trap your fingers in the struts on the tripod legs when folding your tripod.
Please note that lamp tripods must be set up on a sufficiently strong, level surface to ensure maximum stability and load-bearing capacity.
Carefully read through all the information regarding the tripod’s maximum load capacity.
Please note that the specified load capacity applies to any equipment that is placed in the middle of the tripod. The specified maximum load capacity is not applicable when the centre column is fully extended. When the centre column is fully extended this results in a reduced maximum load capacity and the tripod may not be as stable.
When adjusting the centre column with mounted equipment, for your own safety and to protect the installed equipment, make sure that you hold the centre column with one hand while loosening the locks before loosening the tripod locks.
Moisture can damage the parts on the middle column, and this may reduce the holding force and the parts on the centre column can start to slope downwards under heavy loads. Therefore, if necessary, dry the parts on the centre column with a soft, absorbent cloth (e.g. made of cotton).
Tripod weight bags should only be used to secure your tripod.
Using tripod castors:
Always lock the castors into place when you are not moving your tripod.
Please Follow the Following Safety Information When Using a Ball Head or Pan Tilt Head:
When your camera equipment is screwed on, hold your device with one hand whilst unlocking the ball head or pan tilt head to prevent any possible damage to your camera equipment.
Make sure that the quick-release plate is inserted correctly and not tilted. The locking knob needs to be in the furthest locking position to prevent your camera equipment from falling down.
Using a Crank (Depends on Model)
When using a crank, the locking screw on the centre column must always be loosened before adjusting the height of the centre column, otherwise you could damage the delicate pitch thread.
