Product information "Mantona Basic Scout Max Makro II Tripod - 90 x 90 x 615 mm - Working Height up to 153 cm / Maximum Load 6 kg - with Ball Head Reversible Centre Column - Camera Tripod, Travel Tripod"
The mantona Scout Max Macro II tripod from the Scout series offers a little more of everything. The tripod legs, with diameters of 27, 22 and 17 mm, are
very solid and stable and, thanks to the anodised aluminium, are light and
corrosion resistant. In addition to the equally generous and user-friendly
ball head, the MAX Makro variant has a second, short centre column, making
it ideal for taking pictures very close to the ground. The Scout Max
Makro II is therefore a versatile solution not only for beginners. It is easy to use, has practical functions and is
very stable and still compact.
The mantona Scout series impresses with intelligent detailed solutions and is
versatile with additional accessories. Like all mantona products, this tripod also impresses with an attractive price-performance ratio.
Flexible leg angle adjustment
The tripod legs of the mantona Scout
Max Makro II can be aligned particularly easily and continuously thanks to the stable
clamp quick-release fasteners. A spirit level in the tripod star facilitates exact positioning of the tripod. The quick-release fasteners can be individually fine-adjusted using the supplied Allen key, and thus adapted to the user's individual preferences. The uncomplicated leg angle adjustment provides additional flexibility. This means that the tripod is always ready in no time,
even for macro shots.
Macro shots are a pleasure to take thanks to the second
centre column that is also included. The rubberised tripod feet ensure a firm stand on
a variety of surfaces. The ball head of the Scout Max Makro II version can support a slightly higher load than the standard Scout model (5kg) at 6kg. Furthermore, the entire tripod is even more robust and stable thanks to the more voluminous design of the tripod legs (Ø27, 22, 17mm) and tripod shoulder.
Work close to the ground with the reversible centre column and additional
second, extra-short centre column for macro photography close to the ground.
For work close to the ground, the mantona Scout offers not only
a leg angle adjustment but also a reversible centre column. The centre column can be completely removed and reattached to the tripod with the ball head facing downwards.
In addition to this option, the Scout Max Macro II also features a second short centre column attached to the tripod. With this high-quality tripod, the photographer's creativity is unlimited.
Ball head included in the scope of delivery
The mantona Scout is supplied with a ball head with a load capacity of 6 kg and
a quick-release plate (Manfrotto PL200 compatible). The ball head enables you to react quickly to changing light conditions
or to take portrait format pictures. The quick-release plate is rubberised, so your equipment sits extremely reliably and securely on the Manfrotto PL200 compatible quick-release plate. An additional drop guard prevents damage to your equipment. With this set beginners and advanced users who value quality are perfectly equipped.

Download the full set of the instructions before setting up and using your device.
Carefully read through the instructions before using your product for the first time. The instructions include all the important information that you will need to know about the product in order to avoid injuries and damage to your possessions and property.
Risk of Injury Due to Improper Use
Be careful not to trap your fingers in the struts on the tripod legs when folding your tripod.
Please note that lamp tripods must be set up on a sufficiently strong, level surface to ensure maximum stability and load-bearing capacity.
Carefully read through all the information regarding the tripod’s maximum load capacity.
Please note that the specified load capacity applies to any equipment that is placed in the middle of the tripod. The specified maximum load capacity is not applicable when the centre column is fully extended. When the centre column is fully extended this results in a reduced maximum load capacity and the tripod may not be as stable.
When adjusting the centre column with mounted equipment, for your own safety and to protect the installed equipment, make sure that you hold the centre column with one hand while loosening the locks before loosening the tripod locks.
Moisture can damage the parts on the middle column, and this may reduce the holding force and the parts on the centre column can start to slope downwards under heavy loads. Therefore, if necessary, dry the parts on the centre column with a soft, absorbent cloth (e.g. made of cotton).
Tripod weight bags should only be used to secure your tripod.
Using tripod castors:
Always lock the castors into place when you are not moving your tripod.
Please Follow the Following Safety Information When Using a Ball Head or Pan Tilt Head:
When your camera equipment is screwed on, hold your device with one hand whilst unlocking the ball head or pan tilt head to prevent any possible damage to your camera equipment.
Make sure that the quick-release plate is inserted correctly and not tilted. The locking knob needs to be in the furthest locking position to prevent your camera equipment from falling down.
Using a Crank (Depends on Model)
When using a crank, the locking screw on the centre column must always be loosened before adjusting the height of the centre column, otherwise you could damage the delicate pitch thread.
