High user friendliness through convenient operation

As the connecting element between the tripod and camera, the ball head has an important function: it ensures that cameras and other photographic equipment are securely fastened. This makes smooth movements and quick format changes a breeze. A ball head thus provides the flexibility you need in your day-to-day work as a photographer.

The mantona Scout L ball head is particularly recommended for use on the mantona Scout tripod (and is also fitted as standard here), but can of course also be used on other photo or lamp tripods. The mantona Scout ball head is already equipped with a quick-release plate as standard. Additional quick-release plates, which are very useful in practice, are available separately from mantona under item number 18004.

The quick-release plate and thus the ball head can also be combined with quick-release plates from other manufacturers (e.g. Manfrotto 200PL). This means that you can leave your quick-release plates attached to your photo equipment and simply click your camera into the ball head, for example. This makes the mantona Scout L ball head very well suited for use with digital, DSLR, compact or DSLM cameras, as well as generally as a ball head for mounting photo equipment.

Light, robust and versatile

The mantona Scout L ball head is light, robust and can hold up to 5 kg. It comes with a fastening lever with friction function for locking and operation. The ball head also comes with two so-called U-shaped recesses for a lightning-fast format change. The mantona Scout ball head has an overall height of 90 mm and weighs 289 g incl. standard quick-release plate. The quick-release plate can be quickly and easily inserted from the side or from above. A quick-release lock with lever and clipping mechanism securely locks your camera and reliably prevents unintentional detachment of the plate.

The rubber quick-release plate ensures that the camera is stable and secure. The aluminium quick-release plate is precisely manufactured and has a 1/4-inch threaded connection. The ball head itself has a 3/8 inch threaded hole on the underside and can therefore be screwed onto all corresponding tripods. Of course, with a separately available 3/8 to 1/4 inch thread adapter, tripods with a 1/4 inch connection can also be used.
